Software built
to last longer
than the hype.
A small Swiss engineering studio. We design and build native Apple applications, web platforms and AI-driven products — end to end, with the people who will run them afterwards.
Two things, done properly.
Software Development
Product engineering from architecture to release: web platforms, APIs and integrations, data and AI workflows. Clean codebases, documented decisions, and handover you can actually maintain.
Apple Developer
Registered member of the Apple Developer Program. Native apps for iOS, iPadOS and macOS — SwiftUI, App Store submission, signing, distribution and the unglamorous release plumbing that goes with it.
Swiss by default
Registered in Switzerland, hosted in Europe. Security, data protection and long-term ownership are part of the build — not a retrofit after the audit.
Things we built to find out.

GPX Viewer — Sailing Tracker v4
A browser-only race replay for GPX tracks. Drop in a file or pull a track from the cloud and the boat sails the course again on a 2D chart or a 3D globe — with speed, heading and VMG read back off the raw track.
Built as a single static page: no backend, no install, no account. It is our own playground for large-file parsing, precise geo rendering and mobile-first interaction — and the tooling behind it goes straight into client work.
Das Hazuversum
A Rubik's cube as a product map. The fifty-four functions of the Swiss learning platform Hazu sit on fifty-four stickers — turn the cube, hover a sticker to read what it does, click it and the page jumps straight to that function with sample data from a real class.
Scramble and solve it, let it spin, or search all fifty-four from a single field. Three product pillars, eight views on the same content, four languages, Swiss hosting — one self-contained HTML page, no framework, no build step.
Frank Schefter
Frank has spent more than two decades at the point where new technology stops being a demo and starts being a product. He was part of the early Swiss video-streaming and distance-learning scene at an ETH spin-off, spent some fourteen years at Swisscom around content delivery, edge and security, and today works between enterprise infrastructure and applied AI.
Alongside Amberella he is a guest lecturer at the FHNW on cybersecurity and AI, and an investor in and partner manager at the Swiss learning platform Hazu. He works out of Rapperswil on Lake Zurich — and, when the season allows, from the helm of a classic wooden yacht. The sailing tracker above started there.
